A short, plain-language summary of what Cover Better does with your information.

What we keep

Your email address and password (the password is stored scrambled by our login provider, so we can't read it).
The cover letters you write, saved so you can reopen them under My letters. A letter includes the contact details that were on your resume, such as your name, email, phone and city.
A timestamp each time you write a letter, used for the daily limit.
If you subscribe to Pro: whether your subscription is active and when it renews. Your card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.

Your resume file. We read it to get the text, and it is not saved on our side. It only lives in your browser until you leave the page.
Job post text. It is used to write the letter and is not stored separately.

To write a letter, the text of your resume and the job are sent to Anthropic's AI service. Nothing else is sent.
Your account and letters are stored with Supabase, and the site runs on Vercel.
Payments for Pro are processed by Stripe, which keeps its own payment records as the law requires.
We don't sell your information or show you ads.

You can delete any single letter from My letters.
You can delete your whole account from the Account page. This permanently removes your login, all your saved letters and your usage record, and cancels any Pro subscription. It can't be undone.
